Metro Paws Animal Hospital has Expanded!

Welcome to the Metro Paws Animal Hospital, LLC website! We are pleased to inform you that Metro Paws Animal Hospital has expanded! Our second hospital on Fort Worth Avenue near the Belmont Hotel in Oak Cliff is open for business! We want you to rest assured that we will maintain the same exceptional quality of patient care services and client satisfaction as we always have at our Skillman Street location. Our Oak Cliff location serves serves downtown, Kessler Park, Stevens Park, and North Oak Cliff. For details on our Oak Cliff location please click here.

Please give a warm welcome to Dr. Emily Herring who will be joining our team in June. Dr. Herring is a Texas gal, but doesn’t believe that bigger is always better. She has a special interest in pocket pets, and will be happy to see your guinea pigs, rabbits, hamsters, rats, mice, sugar gliders, and ferrets. The next time you stop by our clinic please extend a big welcome to Dr. Herring, and if you haven’t met Dr. Badamo yet who joined us in March, give her a hello also.

As you welcome Dr. Badamo and Dr. Herring, please also congratulate Dr. Sarpong as she has been certified as a Diplomate by the American Board of Veterinary Practitioners (ABVP). Read more about Dr. Sarpong’s achievement here.

The Skillman Street location will continue to serve you and your pet with the same compassionate doctors and staff during our regular business hours. Please join us in our excitement as we begin the journey to broaden our horizon; tell your friends, family, and neighbors.

We hope to see you and your pets in our clinic at Skillman & Live Oak in Dallas soon. The staff of MPAH is happy to help you with all of your pet’s healthcare needs. Our new modern facility offers convenience and quality veterinary care to Lakewood, M-Streets, Swiss Avenue, Munger Place, and Lower Greenville.

Dr. Jennifer Lavender and Dr. Kathryn Junkins Sarpong founded MPAH in East Dallas to offer residents personalized veterinary care. Dr. Shana Robson joined our staff in 2011, and Dr’s. Maria Badamo and Emily Herring in 2013, augmenting our skills and availability. We want to know your pets’ unique health needs and be accessible to our clients. Our staff is comprised strictly of individuals who love animals as much as we do.

We are committed to providing you with veterinary health care that exceeds your expectations.
