Lindsey Shipp, DVM

Metro Paws Skillman

Dr. Lindsey Shipp was born and raised in Grapevine, TX. She earned her bachelor’s degree in Wildlife and Fisheries Sciences and later her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from Texas A&M University. Her favorite part about treating animals is getting to witness and impact the wonderful bond between a person and their beloved pet.

Dr. Shipp’s professional interests include: internal medicine, cardiology, and dentistry. Additionally, she has a special interest in pocket pets and other exotics. She is happy to see gerbils, hamsters, mice, rats, ferrets, rabbits, guinea pigs, and sugar gliders. She also enjoys treating urban chickens and hopes to continue to educate herself and clients in this emerging medical field.

Dr. Shipp is a crazed Aggie sports fan and will often be seen wearing her maroon scrubs on Aggie football game days. She recently moved back to East Dallas with her husband, Jordan, and is enjoying getting involved within the community. Her life is occupied by two Australian Shepherds (Pepper and Maverick), and one cat (Katniss), who is the true ‘boss’ of the house.
