Lauren Strazdis, DVM

Dr. Strazdis found her calling to serve animals and the people who love them unconditionally at an early age. She volunteered for several years at a therapeutic horseback riding facility for children and adults with special needs and war veterans.

Dr. Strazdis studied Animal Science at the University of Connecticut prior to graduating Summa Cum
Laude from the College of Veterinary Medicine at Texas A&M University. She was Salutatorian of her
class and inducted into the Phi Zeta International Veterinary Honor Society.

Dr. Strazdis’ professional interests include internal medicine, surgery, and cardiology. She strives to make each veterinary visit a great experience for her patients and completed additional studies to become a Fear Free Certified Veterinarian. Her special passion for exotic species has inspired Dr. Strazdis to work with a variety of animals across the globe, from lions in South Africa to dolphins and sea turtles in Mexico.

In addition to her role as a veterinarian, Dr. Strazdis is an equestrian and proud parent of rescue dogs:
Nala, Ladybug, Sophie, and Faith.
