Marty came to Metro Paws in Spring 2012, bringing with him almost 26 years experience and training as a veterinary technician. Marty’s career started in high school with 3 years technical training and a 6 month internship before graduating. He went on to college to study web design, foreign languages including Spanish, German, and Latin, all the while working full time at a general vet practice and part time at an emergency clinic. Marty cultivated a professional interest in critical care and began to work full time in emergency medicine. Marty’s special interests are in fluid therapy, hemodynamics, and emergency triage.
In his free time Marty enjoys crochet and reading veterinary medical journals. He is also proud to be a State Fair of Texas enthusiast!
