Jennifer has always has a passion for animals, but only realized her purpose as a Veterinary Technician in 2009. Jennifer then started school to become an RVT and began working at the Kaufman County Animal Awareness Project where she met Dr. Lavender. Jennifer worked her way up to Lead Surgery Technician and then decided to pursue a career with Metro Paws to further her technical skills. Jennifer loves being a part of the Metro Paws team and feels very blessed to do something she loves with a team she loves!!
Jennifer Chavez is the mother of two wonderful toddlers by the names of Jackson and Presleigh, and has been married for seven years to Joey. She is also the mommy to three dogs Freckles, Ruby and Charlie, all of which are rescues and an amazing little feline by the name of Pixie. Jennifer moved back to her hometown of Scurry five years ago so that she could enjoy the country life she took for granted as a child. Jennifer has a fourteen-year-old Appaloosa horse named Patches and a ten-year-old Quarter horse named Copper and riding is her biggest hobby.
