Like most kids, Dr. Knapp aspired to become a veterinarian at the age of seven. (It was either that, a cashier or an actress.) In hot pursuit, she headed to Baylor University to receive a BA with Honors in Biology and then attended Texas A&M to earn her Doctorate. After completing an exciting, multi-specialty internship at Carolina Veterinary Specialists, she moved back west to be closer to her nephews.
Dr. Knapp’s veterinary interests include emergency and trauma care, soft tissue surgery and cardiology. She especially enjoys opportunities to cross international borders to care for all sorts of critters worldwide.
She is happy to be living in East Dallas with her 2 dogs, Linus and Luna.
